This year we plan to hold autism awareness sessions through the arts, such as a film forum, for students at a public school in our city, as well as parents and educators. Educational workshops by autism experts for student leaders at the school. Talks for parents including cross-cutting topics such as stress management, emotion management, social skills, conflict resolution, self-esteem, respect and acceptance of neurodiversity. Teacher training on structured teaching methods such as TEACCH and UDL, and behavior modification strategies based on positive reinforcement. Inclusive community events to foster integration and understanding, such as film forums. Seeking emotional support and guidance for families affected by autism from the Association of Parents and Friends of People with Autism (APANAT), open to the public, through specialists with experience in autism. • Collaboration with universities and local organizations to promote inclusion and ongoing support for the CONVIVE Project for Social Communication students from a university in the city.
