STRENGTHENING EDUCATION TO CREATE BETTER FUTURES
You are invited to join fellow Rotary and Rotaract members on 4 May for “Education, Culture, Planet: How Do Rotary and UNESCO Contribute to Peace?” At this year’s Rotary Day at UNESCO, like-minded people from France and across Europe will connect to explore the role of education in the pursuit of peace.
You won’t have to travel far to attend this inspiring daylong event at UNESCO House in Paris, where you’ll:
- Hear from Rotary President Gordon R. McInally, who will chair the meeting.
- Examine the key role education systems play in strengthening teacher training and student learning.
- Discuss with Rotary, Rotaract, and UNESCO experts important themes such as inclusive and equitable education, technology in education, education for peace, and polio eradication.
- Celebrate the enduring partnership between Rotary and UNESCO, who together have long supported the promotion of education, culture, well-being, and sustainable development in pursuit of peace.
