Webinar: SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL LEARNING: THE FOUNDATION FOR LIFELONG SUCCESS

BELRAG invites you to an informative webinar, in partnership with the Rotary Action Group on Mental Health, on social-emotional learning. The webinar will be presented by Dr. Rita Aggarwal, Consulting Psychologist and Chair of the RAG on Mental Health. This presentation will emphasize the importance of emotional literacy for children as young as the primary school age group and will highlight different types of emotional dynamics experienced by the very young children and the ways in which they discover and handle different ways of expressing their emotions. An understanding of this complex phenomena leads to an improvement in the social interaction, learning trajectories, and behavioral patterns among  children.

STEM activities highlighted at the education hub at the rotary international convention
 
In partnership mEducation Alliance, HUB sponsor and BELRAG partner, the Education HUB heard from 18 presenters, held informal discussions, and featured hands-on demonstrations. The range of presentations covered the physical to the digital spanning foundational learning through training and educational material provision, low-cost microscopes, math carnivals, STEM training programs and competitions,  AI in education - and much more.
 
 

 

NEW BOARD MEMBERS ELECTED TO BELRAG BOARD OF DIRECTORS

At the BELRAG Annual Meeting on June 30, Anthony "Tony" Bloome, Rotary Club of Washington Global, USA, was elected to the Chair position for 2026-2029. Other officers elected include Anu Narula, Vice-Chair, Danielle Harder, Secretary, and Carolyn Johnson, Treasurer.
 
The membership also elected the following new board members to serve a maximum of two 3-year terms.
