Webinar: Use of Pillars of Positive Peace to Develop Strong Education Programs

 

BELRAG invites you to an informative webinar on the Pillars of Positive Peace and their role in developing effective educational programs. Jude Kakube, a Rotarian and educator from Kampala, Uganda, will share his experience implementing these pillars in the Kakube Literacy Project, which improved enrollment and literacy rates by enhancing student conditions and academic performance while fostering community resilience and positive peace around schools.

Are You Attending the Rotary International Convention in Calgary?

We need your help! Volunteers are needed to work the BELRAG booth in the House of Friendship throughout the convention. Just an hour, or two, or as much as you would like. It is a lot of fun and a great way to make new friends interested in basic education and literacy projects. You will experience Rotary at its best as you talk to visitors about their BEL projects and share yours with them as well. No experience is needed. Come join us!
